We were thrilled to travel to the Council of State Governments annual conference last week, and not just because it was in Hawaii. Our team held workshops where we identified the root causes of polarization, discussed how to find common ground, and then took elected officials and government staff through a few exercises to flex their problem-solving muscles.

Participants took on topics like voter ID requirements, gun laws, and where to build clean energy infrastructure. We were especially excited to speak with the many legislators, officials, and staff members who are interested in bringing our It’s Your America citizen problem-solving program to their districts.
